Founder's Reflection

Overall, teaching the children in the summer course was an extremely valuable and enlightening experience. From the information we gathered from a survey we sent out to the parents, we learned that all the parents found that their children loved the course!

One of our students, Lucia, actually told me in the second class that the night before she was so excited for the class that she could not sleep! Her parents also told me that Lucia and her twin brother Diego began to refer to their parents as "mater" and "pater," the Latin words for mother and father!

From the excitement of the students and delight of the parents, the summer course seemed to be a success!

We hope to hold a summer course at Lumin Lindsley Park Community School next summer, as well as open up another summer program at another school in the Dallas area! Check back for more details!
